Roupen Hovsepian hails from a line of jewelers who are masters of their craft. His grandfather worked as a handcraft jeweler in Istanbul, and founded the family business in 1946 in Lebanon.
At age 20, his calling was crystal clear: he was to be a jeweler like his grandfather before him. Braving the sub-zero temperatures of the Siberian Mir mine, he gained hands-on experience in buying rough diamonds. He acquired official education at world-class institutions: GIA in London and HRD Antwerp in Belgium.
Decades later, Roupen Jewelry has become known internationally as a world-leader of modern jewelry designs and quality, with stores across the world in cities like Beirut, Moscow, London and New York.
